On March 22nd Magic Moments will release “Sing Along” a new experimental hip-hop / pop crossover anthem for survivors. The song features Magic’s unique sing-rap style along with some of their most rapid fire verses released to date. Lyrically Magic Moments vulnerably weaves together stories of abuse, bullying and poverty, while maintaining the honest and uplifting overtones of the song, guiding the listener to new possibilities of recovery. Magic’s perspective on life, vocal style, lyrical content and multi-genre approach to songwriting and producing continue to keep them in a lane of their own.

Magic Moments starts by recalling how it felt to feel trapped and out of options with the lyrics: “Picture me face down in the dirt in a broken-down town / Despite my best effort to turn my life around / I’m a seed in the ground but I’m about to sprout / They trying to keep me down but I’ma come back out!” In the face of bullying and abuse Magic was able to maintain a glimmer of hope. By the final verse in Sing Along that hopefulness has grown beyond measure, where Magic sings: “Looking back on these days I know that we are so blessed / Even though we’ve been through some wild and crazy things / A story of children with broken wings / That’s me, that’s you, and this is how it begins!” It’s this glimmer of hope and untamed inspiration that shines through the entire song, and in Magic Moments’ entire catalogue of music.

Magic Moments is a singer, rapper, songwriter and producer from California making emotionally resonate and uplifting music across multiple genres including hip-hop, underground pop, electronic and dance music that Huffington Post calls “a beacon of light!” Known for their distinct style of sing-rap vocals, introspective and honest songwriting, richly textured compositions, and high energy live performances, Magic Moments has been transporting fans to new realms of blissful enchantment at every possible chance. Magic Moments newest single “Sing Along” will be released on March 22nd 2019.

Growing up in Los Angeles and New York, Magic Moments was influenced by everything from underground hip-hop, electronic music, alternative, punk, reggae, dance and music from around the world. Over the years this eclectic mix of sounds helped them create their own musical identity as they began taking music and voice lessons, practicing their freestyles in cyphers, and arranging hundreds of songs on a simple keyboard sequencer. Fear initially kept them from pursuing their dreams in music but after many auspicious moments, including this one night under the full moon, the Magic Moments project was born.

In 2018 Magic released 3 projects including the hip-hop/dub crossover song “Jah Bless Dubs (Wanna Have a Good Time)” with the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry which featured an animated music video by Isai Pavlov. Also in 2018 Magic Moments released the spoken word/ambient work “Fifteen” and the multi-genre single “Let’s Vibe (I’m Lo-Fi Punk)” which blended hip-hop, punk and dance music. In 2017, Magic Moments released 4 projects including the dreamy drum & bass ballad “Whispered Raps and Hype Beats,” the dancehall inspired “Moomba Love (Stepping Life’s Dances)” with vocalist Isa Peña, “Valentine’s Day for Life! (I’m Making My Way to You)” a 14 minute hip-hop/folk dedication to hopeful romantics and the house inspired dance tune “Becoming Rainbow” which featured a virtual reality music video created by visionary artist Archan Nair. In 2016 Magic Moments released the sunny anthem “Summer Forever” and a remix album to their debut ep entitled “Phoenix Remixed” which featured a 360 degree music video. Magic Moments released their debut EP “Phoenix” in late 2015 which Huffington Post called “a beacon of light!” Magic Moments creates music videos and short films for every release and will continue the tradition on their next single “Sing Along” coming out on March 22nd 2019.
